August 11 - First day of school for elementary students!!
Book It!
Our Book It program begins October 1. This is not mandatory. The students are allowed to decide on their own if they would like to participate in this. It is a six month program. We set a class goal of so many reasonable amount of minutes a month to read at home. The students may choose what ever type of literature they want. The minute calendars are to be signed by the student and the parent and shows where the minutes were calculated. These will be turned in by the first day of each month for the preceding month. Thank you!
Accelerated Reader Points
Students are expected to acquire the following A.R. points throughout the school year:
First grading period - 5 pts.
Second grading period - 5 pts.
Third grading period - 10 pts.
Fourth grading period - 15 pts.
