About SPCS
Southport Presbyterian Christian School was founded in 1978 as a preschool with a Christian perspective. Additional preschool classes followed, and in 1986 the early elementary grades (1, 2 and 3) were established. The program now provides classes for children two years through eighth grade.
SPCS, a ministry of Southport Presbyterian Church, is operated by a board of directors, all of whom are church members. We welcome students of all races or national origins. Scholarhips, based on need, are available for families in the elementary grades.
